Display pack to help encourage growth mindset when learning great time saver. Super quick and easy way to brighten up your class room.
The pack includes:
- The Growth letters
- Mindset as an acrostic poem
- 16 inspirational quotes from a variety of philosophers, inventors, sportsmen, activists and a couple of celebrities.
The quotes could also serve as a discussion tool during tutor/ discussion time.
In my image the sheets were all printed A4 then laminated but if you had more space they would look brilliant in A3 too.

Set of notes designed to support learning on The Shari’a as outlined in specification for OCR Developments in Islamic thought topic 3.
The document includes a set of knowledge check questions at the end, exerts from wider reading and external links to additional reading/ video sources.
It may be used prior to lessons to introduce term and ideas, as a revision tool or as notes to go through the topic in a lesson.

This lesson introduces students to the theory of utilitarianism according to Jeremy Bentham and Hedonic calculus.
The lesson encourages students to first think from their personal opinion before responding to moral situations as utilitarian.
Information and task sheets have been included.
The lesson was planned in accordance with OCR a level specification but could also be used with KS4 students but I assume it would need longer to cover with them (at least 2 hours).
This resource includes a do now booklet with activities that allow students to engage with rights useful during tutor time.
It also includes a timetable of rights you could use and ideas on how to discuss them with students and raise awareness of them which can be used for reflection/collective worship/ PSHE/ citizenship.
These resources were made and used to consolidate learning on the topics 'Religious Attitudes to Drug Abuse' and 'Religious Attitudes to World Poverty.'
Each lesson includes:
- A Do Now task to encourage engagement with religious teachings.
- A Lesson objective, success criteria and knowledge dump starter.
- Activity sheets to be printed A3 to be completed (some students may require materials for this mine used exercise books)
- A 321 exit ticket
A document including a variety of quotes from Joseph Fletcher, the Bible and scholars which enable students to explain and evaluate Situation Ethics.
It is in the table format encouraging the students to:
Highlight a short section of the quote
Put the quote into their own words/ say what it suggests.
Apply it to a key element of Situation Ethics
Evaluate the assertion from the quote, what are its merits, who may disagree.
Great as a revision task for students, to be completed as shorter homework tasks alongside learning of the unit or as main classwork tasks throughout the unit.
It includes extension tasks which encourage students to reflect on learning and make links across the course.
Designed with Eduqas in mind but the content is applicable to all A Level specifications.
